Script - King's County
FAI stands on the railing of a balcony on a classy uptown building.
It's raining and winding and dark, and his overcoat (too large) whips around wildly.
KUROGANE sits at a table inside, perusing a newspaper. Wife beater, skinny jeans, loose tie. The room is lit brightly with fluorescents and has a spare, white aesthetic. Very trendy.
Kurogane looks up.
K: ...the hell?
There should not be a person on that balcony. This is the third floor.
But he pulls open the folding doors and steps out into the wind and rain and dark where Fai stands precarious with his eyes closed and his poise perfect. His tie is tugged away by the wind. He looks for a horrified instant at the scene, then acts.
Grabs the front of the oversized coat and tugs the skinny guy onto the balcony. Fai crumples, making no protest, and Kurogane sweeps him up and backs through the door with a face as stormy as the sky outside.
K: Who the hell are you?
